The ultimate day for a family to spend together is one in which the parents can relax and drink wine and the children can run amok and play, right? Well, now you can make that dream a reality by visiting one of the many gorgeous vineyards on Long Island.
Vineyards often get a reputation for being “adult only” venues; however, many that are found out East, not only accommodate families, some even allow the family pet, and offer up activities for the whole family. Just remember to pack your own blankets to picnic on, bottles of water and food for the kids, and maybe some toys for the little ones as well. Then it’s time to let the kids run and dance, while you watch the sun set, sip wine, and enjoy all that the East End of Long Island has to offer.
