If your kids are still suffering from a long winter’s “cabin fever,” what better way to help them get out their over abundance of energy then to head to a local playground? From east to west there’s definitely no shortage of such places all across Long Island. So put the kids in the car and check out some of these great play parks on Long Island!

In Commack, HOYT FARM PARK is located at 200 New Highway. Hoyt features baseball fields, nature trails, slides, swings and even a water park for when the weather gets a little bit warmer.

In East Meadow, EISENHOWER PARK is located at Merrick & Stewart Avenues. Eisenhower Park features playgrounds, dozens of athletic fields and courts, fitness trails, and even mini golf (for a small fee).

In Roslyn, CHRISTOPHER MORLEY PARK is located off of Searingtown Road just north of the Long Island Expressway. This park has something for the whole family. Tennis and basketball courts, a playground, fitness and nature trails and even a dog run so you don’t have to leave “Fido” at home.
