The Girl Scouts asked Seattle food bloggers to come up with recipes that use their cookies as an ingredient. These delicious dessert recipes were the winners of the Girl Scouts of Western Washington 2013 Cookie recipe contest:

IMG_8385The Girl Scout Lemon Cookie & Shrimp Ravioli looks absolutely delicious and uses the Savannah Smiles lemon cookies crushed up and used as a ravioli filling, then topped with a lemon cream sauce.

The Fried Samoas® Shrimp recipe was created by the Girl Scout Council of the ColonialCoast in Virginia. The addition of Samoas cookies adds a special kick to the traditional coconut shrimp recipe.

Thin Mint Pancakes sound like an incredible use of those extra Thin Mint cookies. Be sure to stock up as these pancakes will likely be a hit with the entire family.

The Samoa Cookie Arancini (rice ball) is a finalist of the Girl Scouts of Western Washington Food Blogger Recipe Contest of 2014.


Keep this one away from the kids! The Samoa Cookie Cocktail combines Godiva chocolate, Malibu coconut rum, Disaronno amaretto, shredded sweetened coconut, chocolate syrup and Samoas cookies for a delicious adult drink.

Here is a drink recipe for the kids; they will love this Thin Mint Milkshake. Made with Thin Mints, milk and vanilla bean ice cream, this is just like drinking a thin mint cookie.
