See a Parade and Fireworks
Many towns on Long Island hold Independence Day parades during the day, then cap it all off with fireworks when the sun goes down. Make sure to arrive early to get a good seat and don’t forget to bring the insect repellent at night. Each town offer different events, dates, and times so check with your town’s chamber of commerce.
