Free Pet Food Distribution on Long Island this Weekend

The North Shore Animal League America will be distributing donated pet food to devastated communities due to Hurricane Sandy thanks to the Animal League America and Purina PetCare Company. Homeowners facing food shortages for their pets can go to several locations on Long Island to acquire free pet food.

WHAT: Purina Pet Care Company has generously donated over 6,000 bags of Be Happy® dry dog and cat food to North Shore Animal League America. Animal League America will be distributing this food at no cost to communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy.  Distribution of pet food is in addition to the services being provided to the pets of evacuees by North Shore Animal League America.  Members of the community can arrive at the locations listed below during the designated times to receive this much needed pet food at no cost.
