Creative Ways to Use Pumpkins
Now that those pumpkins are picked and back at home, get ready for some fun!  Long Island Mamas found some fun and unique ways to use pumpkins.

  • For a really fun centerpiece, stick orange and black tootsie roll pops all over the pumpkin. This can even be used in lieu of the traditional candy bowl used to hold treats. Another option is to clean out the inside of the pumpkin, line with plastic wrap and fill with candy.
  • Write a word  on a pumpkin with glue. Let it dry. Next spray paint the pumpkin any color you like to create instant fall decor!
  • Wrap a pumpkin with an old pair of fish net stockings for a quick and easy spider web design.
  • Ditch those flower pots! Hollow out a pumpkin and place inside a fun fall plant like mums.
  • Hollow out a pumpkin, fill it with ice and add wine bottles or pumpkin ale. Great for a Halloween party!
