Children can construct works of art using thousands of Legos (donations of gently used Lego accepted).

Brookhaven - Long Island Live Steamers “Public Train Run”
Hop on a miniature steam train, and see diesel and electric trains along 8 acres of train tracks. Open all day, kids can enjoy rides, question and answer sessions and lots of behind the scenes action all about trains!

Centerport - Vanderbilt Theatre “Tales of Neverland – The Adventures of Peter Pan & Wendy”
This interactive, audience participation play put on by the Arena Players is a delight for children of all ages. Children will be reminded how loyalty, trust, and team work are an important part of solving problems and making lasting friendships.

Garden City – The Cupcake Corner “Children’s Crafts”
Kids can work on a craft and there’s a different one each week. Craft takes anywhere from 15-45 minutes to complete depending upon the age of the child. No purchase necessary.
When: Saturday 7/28 and Sunday 7/29 (takes place every weekend through 8/26). Drop in anytime between 12 pm-4 pm.

Northport – John W. Engeman Theater “Rapunzel-a Tangled Tale”
Part of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Youth Theater Series, this show for kids is a familiar tale told with flair. Find out how Rapunzel uses her golden locks to get herself our of trouble. This weekend’s show are part of the PBS Kids Club Thirteen Events.
