These classes are great for fostering creativity or just to keep busy on rainy days. We even found art classes that will come directly to people’s homes to provide kids with one-on-one and group lessons. The Hamptons Studio of Fine Arts
Founder James Daga Albinson created The Hamptons Studio of Fine Arts after running two other art academies. His studio offers art classes for the young and old. Young artists are given the privileges and responsibilities of adult members. They have access to the studio after school and on the weekends. While there, young artists can either work on their school projects or start a course of study with HSFA instructors. Students choosing a classical course of study will start with the fundamentals where they will be introduced to classical drawing and painting techniques. The youth program focuses on improving observational skills and offers students many opportunities to improve quickly by giving them the skills needed for further artistic growth. There are plans for a new studio location to be opened soon, but for now artists can take classes at the Riverhead studio.
Where:
40 West Main Street, Riverhead, NY
