Holistic Moms Network – Suffolk County Lake Grove Area Chapter

The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit organization that connects parents interested in holistic health and green living.  The Network forms local chapters where parents can meet and talk to like minded people.  The mission of the Holistic Moms Network is “to generate national awareness, education, and support for holistic parenting and green living.”

This is achieved by providing nurturing, open-minded, and respectful local community networks that encourage families to share these ideals and learn from each other.  We’ve highlighted one of the many Holistic Moms Network communities in Long Island – the Suffolk County Lake Grove Area Chapter.

The Suffolk County Lake Grove Area chapter welcomes holistic moms from all over eastern Suffolk County.  This chapter offers two meeting options a month. An evening meeting takes place every second Thursday at the Whole Foods Market in Lake Grove, New York, at 7:00 pm. Daytime meetings are every third Wednesday at Panera Bread in Port Jefferson Station, New York, at 11:00 am.  Everyone interested in natural family living, alternative health options and/or mindful parenting are welcome to join the chapter, and the organization is for all, not just moms.

Meetings usually include a guest speaker and a discussion period.

The Suffolk County Lake Grove Area chapter also offers:
* Park days
* Cooking club
* Book club
* Walking group
* Moms of Older Kids
* Outings: family outings, nature walks, moms nights out
* A local and national online member community – an excellent resource for information on alternative health, green living, and gentle parenting
* Discount subscriptions to Organic Spa, Brain, and Child magazines
* Free membership in the Wellness Possibilities Savings Club
* Much more!
