Cold Spring Harbor - CSH Whaling Museum
Features: Hands-on interactive museum about the life of whalers, living on the sea, and all things whales. Toddler programs, birthday parties, senior days, school/organizations field trips on-site and off, and library programs.
Hours: Tuesday-Sunday and holiday Mondays 11 am-5 pm (also open Mondays for toddler programs and group bookings). Summer hours: 11 am-5 pm daily from Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Features: Devoted to genes, disease risk, DNA, and cells. Exhibitions (currently under renovation), educator workshops, school/organizations field trips on site, summer camps, Saturday programs, and multimedia presentations.

Features: Hands-on Museum all about the way things work. With exhibits, theater shows, demonstrations, school/organizations field trips on-site and off.
