Looking for an Easter Egg hunt for children? Check out these upcoming hunts in Long Island. Most of the hunts are free, and the ones that charge an admission fee have a few additional activities included. At all of the hunts, children will get a chance to see the Easter Bunny and maybe even visit with him. All hunts are BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket).

Long Beach Recreation Center
The Long Beach hunt will be held on the Recreation Center fields. The hunt will be broken into different age groups with prizes being awarded for each group.

Village of Westbury Recreation Center
Search for eggs at the Westbury Easter Egg Hunt. Find the Golden Egg and win an Easter Basket. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to take photos with. Contact the Recreation Office to sign up.

Huntington YMCA Easter Egg Hunt
At this Easter Egg Hunt, not only will children be able to hunt eggs, they will be able to enjoy other activities including: games, arts & crafts, and songs. Participants must register beforehand for the event.

Oakdale Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt
The annual hunt will be held on the lawns of Dowling College. Children will be able to meet the Easter Bunny and participate in other activities. Hunts will be divided into four age groups: toddlers, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, and 7-8 years. There will also be raffles and prizes given.

Simon Youth Foundation Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Walt Whitman shops will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt to benefit the Simon Youth Foundation. Children will be able to search for 1,500 eggs hidden in the center’s common area. The hunt is limited to the first 150 children, and to ensure that every child receives eggs all children will be limited to 10 eggs apiece. After the hunt, children will be able to see the Easter Bunny, get their faces painted, and receive temporary tattoos. Please bring a non-perishable item to donate to Long Island Cares.

Spring Egg Hunt
At the Spring Egg Hunt, more than 6,000 eggs will be hidden in Belmont Lake Park. The Hunt is divided into three age groups, 4 and under, 5-6 years, and 7-9 years. After the hunt is over, participants can take pictures with the Spring Bunny, visit the petting zoo, do arts & crafts or take a pony ride.

Three Village Easter Egg Hunt
