A 1 p.m. docent-led family walk-through of the exhibition and supervised art activities for the whole family. Special family guides of the main exhibition are available in the galleries. Family Sundays at the Museum are free with museum admission.
Messy Afternoons at LICM
You’ll be up to your elbows in goop, guts, shaving cream and play-doh by participating artistic activities that everyone loves, but not one likes to clean-up after. The afternoon will offer a variety of sensory activities for children ages 18 months to age 4. Free with museum admission.

Winter Break Craft And Baking Camp
Kids Will Make Their Own Individual Pizzas, Make And Decorate Sugar Cookies And Cupcakes, Make Chocolate Lollipops, Decorate Aprons, Paint Ceramic Figurines And Cupcake Banks, Dance, Play Games, And More. There Will Be A Full Nutritional Lunch And Snack Each Day, Two Projects Or Activities, And The Day Will End With A Popular Children’s Short Movie. Projects And Lunches Vary Each Day. Looking for something to do with the kids? Visit the Fire Island Lighthouse. Reduced Tower Tour fees for children under 12 years old (must be 42 inches tall to climb).
