Weekend Pick: Pooh’s Winter Tale Performance This Sunday

by Maytal Wichman

This Sunday, treat your kids (and yourself) to a performance of the classic tale of Winnie the Pooh: Pooh’s Winter Tale.  The show is being performed this Sunday, January 8th, at 2pm at the Great Neck North Middle School Auditorium. Little ones will love seeing Winnie the Pooh and his friends take the stage! You can also use this as a very reasonable birthday party idea —  you can hold your child’s birthday party at each performance - and have the dining part either before or after the show, but you must schedule in advance. Children will get reserved seats. Facility fee is $50. Call the Recreation Department at (516) 441-4045 for more information and/or to make a reservation

About the Show:

Winnie-the-Pooh is Christopher Robin’s special friend who finds himself involved in all sorts of frantic adventures, assisted by such friends as the gloomy Eeyore, Piglet and Rabbit. A.A. Milne’s wit and special understanding of children make this one of the most delightful family shows!
