Fall Carnivals In Mount Sinai

One of the best things about the Fall is all of the local carnivals.  My family always has a great time at these two annual carnivals in Mt Sinai.

Cedar Beach Carnival- sponsored by the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce

We like to get to this one early.  We take a stroll on the beach before the carnival starts, eat an early dinner and then hit the rides!  There are lots of arts and crafts for the kids, giveaways, tons of rides and games, and a small petting zoo.  My entire family has fun here.

Some of the favorites are the pumpkin painting crafts, bobbing for apples, and most of the little kids love the Dumbo ride.

Make sure you try the roasted corn and hot apple cider!!!

Free parking.

Fall into Fun Carnival at Heritage Park

This is by far our favorite local carnival.  It is very kids friendly.  There are tons of rides including the ferris wheel, train ride, merry go round and spinning strawberries. Last year my two year old was able to go on most of the rides making for a very happy little girl.  We won tons of prizes at the booths.  Hint: The fishing game is a sure win.

The carnival food is always a big hit.  Make sure you get their Zeppoles and Lemonade!!! Check out the Mister Softee Ice Cream Shop while your there.  When you are done at the carnival stick around and play in the two playgrounds.
