There is nothing better than a ripe, juicy strawberry. If you want to sample some, fresh off the farms, get thyself to a strawberry festival or go pick your own at one of Suffolk County’s many great family-owned farms. June 11, 2011 – Strawberry Festival and Farmer’s Market, Craft Fair and Flea Market

This huge street fair benefits the Yaphank Presbysterian Church and will be going rain or shine. All types of vendors and food, fresh fruits and veggies, pies and cheesecakes will be sold. There will also be crafts and a flea market, as well as fun for the kids. Main Street will be closed for this and there will be public parking and street parking.   From 10:00am Til 6:00pm.  Free admission.

57th Annual Mattituck Lions Strawberry Festival

Perfect for families, enjoy this annual Strawberry Festival by munching on fresh strawberry treats, enjoy rides, shop for arts and crafts or chill out to live music. Free admission Thursday night, $2 admission for all on Friday, Saturday and Sunday admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children.
